STUDENT MEMBERSHIP

For students who are currently enrolled at a university or tertiary institution and has a demonstrated commitment to circular economy research in Africa. You will be doing a Masters, PhD or post doctoral degree, where circular economy in Africa forms the basis of your research. You can be enrolled in a university that is either in Africa or elsewhere in the world.

  • Participate in Student Programme meetings
  • Opportunities to present completed research with other ACEN Members and contacts
  • Contribute to the development of ACEN's case study database in collaboration with Footprints Africa.
  • Where appropriate, join a Country Chapter as a Chapter Member

Contribution


  • Share research experiences and ideas with other Student Members
  • Promote ACEN in their academic institution and encourage students in their network who are researching the circular economy in Africa to apply to become ACEN Student Members.
  • Contribute case studies and examples of circular economy policies in Africa to ACEN’s case study database. 
  • Invite ACEN members to the conferences and seminars they organise relating to the circular economy in Africa.
