Africa has been using circular principles for generations. As new business models and technologies emerge, the opportunities for agriculture, industry, the informal sector, cities and waste management can be harnessed to improve livelihoods and reduce poverty.

Please join us so we can work together to accelerate the transition to circularity in Africa. Below are the different categories of membership that you can apply for. Since its foundation in July 2016, ACEN has been run as a pro-bono network; this membership programme will help us plan for a sustainable future.

Anyone applying to be a Friend of ACEN will be approved immediately and their contact details will be added to the ACEN mailing list so that they can receive newsletters and other communications of our activities.

Applications for other categories of Membership will be considered at a monthly meeting of the ACEN Membership Committee which is made up of 3 members of the Executive Team and 3 Country Representatives. 

Our target is to respond to your application in 30-60 days depending on the timing of Membership Committee meetings. When  your application has been approved you will be sent a link to the payment pages of the ACEN website.
